Campaign Bad Decisions
Characters as Dungeonmasters
JBS as DMs:
Jiro: Jiro creates a story full of twists, turns, political intrigue and the like. The plot is about taking down an evil emperor. At every single turn, Sevvie attempts to join the emperor’s side.
Morti: Morti is an excellent dungeon master, attempting to appease each of her players and make them happy. She’s a bit of a Monty Haul DM, but the group is pleased with it.
Dmitri: Dmitri runs a high tech scifi campaign set in the future. He keeps changing the plot- one week it’s about superheroes, the next week it’s about spies, the week after that it’s about going to space.
Pyotr: Pyotr is an old-school DM, clearly inheriting from his father on this one. Deadly traps, overpowering encounters, but fantastic rewards. Pyotr’s glee at TPKs is limitless.
Samiul: Samiul makes an over-elaborate campaign about magical girls in space. He really gets into the roleplaying. REALLY GETS INTO THE ROLEPLAYING.
Fedor: Fedor tries to continue running Pyotr’s campaign (he’s too lazy to write his own) but favors Jiro, always. Jiro’s rogue walks into an ultradeadly trap? No trap there! The party finds a cache of treasure, only usable by rogues. No monsters ever attack Jiro’s rogue. Ever. Sevvie threatens to revolt.
Dominik: The group plays shadowrun.
Kseniya: Kseniya weaves a stirring tale of what is seemingly at first good vs evil, the players playing clerics, paladins, magical girls and the like, until it it turns out that morality is far more complex and that some of the party’s major allies are evil, but dedicated to the same cause as they are. Intense roleplaying, amazing battles against the forces of wickedness, and an extremely loud fight between Sevvie and Kseniya, when Sevvie claims that Kseniya is prejudiced against those of certain alignments. Sevvie leaves the groups when Kseniya is DM after that.
Auxillary Members of the JBS:
Bara: The group plays the world’s most authentic goose roleplaying game.
Zarya: The group plays Call of Vexales.
Alice: I really don’t think Alice has the sort of attention span to be a DM.
Vara: Vara will give up his time as DM to let Bara continue with the world’s most authentic goose roleplaying game.
Dr. Checkers: Dr. Checkers would bring a thrilling roleplaying game from Kenisal for the group to play. It would have a ridiculous name like “Resplamdonacers”, each character sheet would be 20 pages long, and the game would involve singing. Most of the character mechanics would be considered “body horror” by our standards. (Messel: “My body has split open, and I’m… extruding tendrils of liquid darkness, dripping caustic pus? Um, I scream?” Dr. Checkers: “My dear Messel, is Flaspledorf screaming with delight? This is a wonderous transformation!”)
